Ambassadors for Our Schools in Nepal

We have appointed individuals to represent us in cities and countries around the globe. Ambassadors help spread the word and raise funds for our schools in Nepal.

Mahesh Sajnani Dubai, UAE

Mahesh Sajnani has been appointed as an ambassador for Dubai, UAE until May 31, 2014. Mahesh is from Darjeeling, India and has lived and worked in Nepal for 16 years. During his stay in Nepal, he taught at various schools, including St. Xavier’s in Kathmandu for 10 years, and was associated with many educational programs. Currently, he is the Community Outreach Coordinator at Al Diyafah High School in Dubai and teaches at the secondary level.

Robert W. Molnar Munich, Germany

Robert W. Molnar, has been appointed as an ambassador for Canada until June 30, 2015. Robert is a Canadian national based in Ontario and is by profession engaged in legal services. He considers himself as a humanitarian and came to Nepal in 2012 as a volunteer. At that time, he stayed for over four months and worked with children at various institutions. In 2014, he returned to Nepal and helped us implement the drinking water and sanitation program at Chandi Devi Primary School, Dukuchhap, Lalitpur.

Gaurika Singh London, UK

Gaurika Singh, has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador since June 9, 2015. She is a Nepalese swimmer. She has held many national records since the beginning of her swimming career at the young age of eight. She won one silver and three bronze medals for swimming at the 2016 South Asian Games. She also participated at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, as the youngest Olympian, representing Nepal in the Women’s 100m backstroke. Singh lives and trains in London, United Kingdom. Ms. Singh has supported NRS. 2,40,000 to us to enrich the education of school children and has promised to help ahead too.

Weena Pun Nepal

Weena Pun has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador since June 5, 2016. She had been Vice-chairperson of SEI Nepal since 2013. She is a Nepalese writer cum journalist. Currently she has been to Cornell University, USA for studying Master in Fine Arts with specialization in Creative Writing.
