Kshamawati Higher Secondary School

Kshamawati Higher Secondary School, established in 1948, is located in Suspa Kshamawati VDC in Dolakha district. It is 150 km away from Kathmandu. It runs classes from nursery to grade 12. Today, it has altogether 450 students with 15 academic and non-academic staff members.

Prior to the earthquake, the school had a total of 22 classrooms and 20 were damaged by the earthquake. As the school needed at least 10 rooms to conduct its regular operations, it requested us to help us make six rooms operational with a library.
We supported the school to add six rooms to help the school conduct classes there. We signed a MoU with Kshamawati Higher Secondary School, Sushpa Kshamawati VDC, Dolakha district on February 28, 2016 to reconstruct/renovate construction of six rooms (as per design) of three storied building and set up for library. This program is financially supported by various donors worldwide.
