Ratomate Primary School

Ratomate Primary School, established in 1998, is located in Nanglebhare, Kathmandu district. It is 35 km away from central Kathmandu. It runs classes from nursery to grade five. Today, it has altogether 55 students with six academic staff members.

Prior to the earthquake the school had six classrooms in the beginning. But due to the massive earthquake it lost four out of six and is hampered adversely in running classes. As the school needed at least two more classrooms to conduct its regular operations, it requested us for the help.

We have supported the school to add two rooms to help the school conduct classes there. We had signed a MoU with the school on April 20, 2016 to reconstruct/renovate construction of two rooms of the school building. The project was expected to be completed by the mid of July of 2016 with the financial support of Alabama Nepalesese Association and Santi School Project, USA.
